Study on Functional Encryption, Fully Homomorphic Encryption and Related Cryptographic Primitives for Preserving Privacy in Cloud-Assisted Environments
In the light of current scenario with countless real-life applications of functional encryption and fully homomorphic encryption, I propose to focus my research on designing secure and efficient functional encryption for broader classes of functionals, fully homomorphic encryption in multi-key and threshold setting for distributed network and related cryptographic primitives for preserving privacy in cloud-assisted environments. These are really demanding in the areas of healthcare, medical research, insurance, finance etc. which deals with extremely sensitive information but depends on cloud server for the seek of computation.

Trapdoor and Preimage Sampling: Internship Project |
Supervisor : Prof. Ratna Dutta, Dept. of Mathematics, IIT Kharagpur |
Description : In this project work, we studied & implemented trapdoor generation algorithm and preimage sampling algorithm which are used in group signature, identity-based encryption and many more.
Multi-key Fully Homomorphic Encryption (Course Project - II): M.Tech Project | Supervisor : Prof. Ratna Dutta, Dept. of Mathematics, IIT Kharagpur |
Description : In this project, we studied a multi-key fully homomorphic encryption scheme based on GSW using symmetric key setting and implemented the scheme in C programming.
GSW Fully Homomorphic Encryption (Course Project – I): M.Tech Project |
Supervisor : Prof. Ratna Dutta, Dept. of Mathematics, IIT Kharagpur |
Description : In this project, we studied GSW fully homomorphic encryption scheme based using symmetric key setting and implemented the scheme in C programming language.
Geometric Group Theory (Course Project): M.Sc Project |
Supervisor : Prof. Himadri Sekhar Mandal, Dept. of Mathematics, Midnapore College (Autonomous) |
Description : In this project work, we studied finitely generating groups by exploring the connections between algebraic properties of such groups and topological and geometric properties of spaces on which these groups act.
Counting and Coloring with Symmetry (A Presentation of Burnside’s Theorem and Applications) (Course Project): B.Sc Project |
Supervisor : Prof. Manimohan Mandal, Dept. of Mathematics, Midnapore College (Autonomous) |
Description : In this project work, we studied the Burnside’s theorem which is based on the group action and its application in solving counting and coloring problem with symmetry.
